Lecture on CubeSatellites
Taking my passion – Space – to the next level, I’ve recently had the opportunity to hold a lecture about small satellites, more precisely – CubeSats.
These satellites although small, are very powerful and are now taking over the new space industry.
My first lecture took place in Rijeka, as part of “The Month of Astronautics”, hosted by Croatian Astronautical and Rocket Association in Astronomical Center Rijeka on November 20, 2020.
Amidst the coronavirus situation, the visitors got the opportunity to watch the lecture livestreamed on the Facebook channel. A few brave ones did come personally and complemented my lecture with some interesting question.
The event was accompanied by a photo exhibition on Rijeka’s famous street – Korzo.
A month later, on December 15th, I was given the opportunity to hold the lecture again, this time remotely for an online stream of “IT Community Rijeka” hosted by Rene Brakus.
The stream was simultaneously running on Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
The recording can be found here:
A day later I’ve been sent a link to an article summarizing my lecture, which came as a nice surprise.
If you can read Croatian, you can give it a try:
Now, on to some new adventures!
